Prior to joining Unum, Sekharan was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and Booz & Company, serving C-suite leaders on strategic areas in the financial services and medical insurance verticals. She brings extensive experience in large-scale business and technology transformations – and holds an MBA from Duke University and a Bachelor of Engineering from National Institute of Technology, India.

Prior to joining Unum, LaJeunesse was an Associate Partner at IBM Global Business Services where he was responsible for aligning technology strategy for IBM's Global Talent and Transformation consulting and outsourcing practice. In addition to his strategic leadership role, he led a multinational team responsible for defining technology solutions and innovation for Fortune 500 companies globally.
