Unum's online claims tools provide employees with an easier and more secure way to manage their claims and leaves. Over the last 18 months, Unum has implemented significant updates that improve the user experience and provide more value to employees.
Unum has also developed marketing tools to highlight the service and its capabilities. For example, an employee flyer introduces employees to the website screens, shows them how to get started and lists the actions they can complete online — in simple, clear language that employees will find easy to read and understand. We’ve also created a new animated video, showing how the Employee Services portal is an employee's “go-to spot” for easy and convenient management of their Unum claims and leave.
The Employee Services portal was developed for employees who have Unum’s leave management services, or those on claim through short term disability, voluntary benefits or long term disability. The portal offers an easier way to access forms and provide information to support an open claim, as well as view updates and correspondence when they become available.Through the portal, employees can monitor the progress of the claim paper-free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This site is also mobile capable.
