DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Program Details

A three-year rotational leadership development program designed to provide participants with the opportunity to rotate through challenging and fulfilling work assignments, effective professional and personal development, and attractive career growth opportunities. This program serves as a foundation for movement into senior and leadership roles within our Technology & Transformation organization.

BUSINESS AREA ROTATIONS

The program consists of three 12-month job rotations over the course of three years. Rotation assignments are determined based on key business priority, associate interest, and associate developmental needs.

Rotation opportunities may include:

  • AI and Machine Learning
  • User Experience
  • Big Data and Analytics
  • Infrastructure
  • Cyber Security
  • Cloud-based Technology
  • Mobile and Portal Development
  • Integration and Growth Platforms

Relocation between campus locations is supported, but not required. Work locations may include Chattanooga, TN; Portland, ME; Atlanta, GA; Columbia, SC; and Carlow, IRE.

PERSONAL LEADERSHIP LEVEL MENTOR

You will be matched with a personal mentor from our leadership team to guide you for the duration of the program, supporting your individualized growth and development.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

The program includes hands-on training and development including classroom time, self-study, company-sponsored certifications, and project-based work.

FEEDBACK AND ASSESSMENT

Participants will provide feedback and recommendations on process improvements, new technologies, and ways to accelerate Unum’s digital transformation as they move through the program.
