CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (June 1, 2022) – Unum (NYSE: UNM) moved higher on this year’s Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for New Graduates. The employee benefits solutions provider ranks 54 out of 300 companies and is second in the Insurance category. 

The company offers several development programs helping young leaders grow through experiential learning and business area rotations. They also provide exam support for selected certifications.

This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. Statista independently surveyed over 20,000 U.S. young professionals who work for companies that employ at least 1,000 people. Questions focused on work-related issues and their experiences in the workplace. Participants were asked to rate the likelihood they would recommend their employer to family and friends. In addition, the employers were assessed based on:

  • Atmosphere & Development
  • Diversity
  • Image
  • Salary & Wage
  • Working Conditions
  • Overall Workplace

Participants were asked to evaluate other employers in their respective industries that stand out either positively or negatively.
