Unum promotes Whynot and Boucher to SVP roles

PORTLAND, Maine (Feb. 11, 2019)Unum (NYSE:UNM) has promoted Lori Whynot to senior vice president of Benefit Operations for Unum US and Closed Block, and Michelle Boucher to senior vice president of Benefits Experience and Absence Management Center.

Whynot began her career at Unum in 1990 in the Contact Center before moving to Long Term Disability (LTD) as a disability benefits specialist. She has since served in several progressive leadership roles during her tenure, most recently as vice president of Group and Individual Benefits. She is a proven leader who has overseen key transformational changes and has been instrumental in ensuring quality outcomes and consistency across the Benefits organization.

Boucher also joined Unum in 1990 and brings more than 20 years of experience in operational leadership, large initiative management, field connectivity, and talent development. She will provide key leadership during a time of significant growth and transformation in Unum’s Absence Management Center, supporting the development of market-leading digital capabilities.
