Dividend of $0.075 Per Share of its Common Stock
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – On July 17, 2006, the Board of Directors
of UnumProvident Corporation (NYSE: UNM) declared a quarterly dividend of
$0.075 per share of its Common Stock, to be paid on August 18, 2006, to
stockholders of record on July 31, 2006.
