The Provident Agency, Inc. (PAI) currently holds a third party administrator agreement to represent the Unum Group insurance subsidiary companies (Unum). Unum has authorized PAI to market, underwrite, sell, administer premium billing, commissions, and claims, and provide customer service support on Unum's group life, group special risk AD&D and group blanket accident products. Under the terms of the third party administrator agreement, Unum compensates PAI via base commissions for sales and administrative services. Unless directed otherwise by the customer, standard base commissions are calculated as a percentage of premium. Compensation terms are evaluated annually and subject to change.
