Portland is an old seacoast town that exhibits all the attributes of a Maine coastal community. But as Maine's largest urban area, it's also the state's financial and cultural center. More than 3,000 Unum employees and their families call the Portland area home.
The heart of Maine
Portland and the Greater Casco Bay area feature some of the best that Maine has to offer, from museums and arts centers to historic districts and coastal parks. And don't forget the great lobster feasts and other world-class dining that's made the area famous.
